For a record that is just over two minutes long, there are a multitude of elements lilspirit jam packed into this new single! Out of the many different stems built in the track, not once did I hear anything unnecessary or loss attention. lilspirit kept the tune interesting from start to finish!
There is no intro of any kind, lilspirit goes straight into the first verse and the only thing accompanying him is an acoustic guitar! It's not until the first pre-chorus that other elements start to come in like backing vocals, bass and kick. My favorite parts of the song were the choruses or "hooks" sung in falsetto. Everything lilspirit did in the song sounded unreal and some of the techniques used are hard to do yet alone explain! You're just gonna have to take my word for it and go give this song a listen to because lilspirit has graced us with this one!
Lyrics That Stick:
"Hold my thought on Monday you're estranged
If you want me you could take me away."
