A groovy tune with a melancholy message. Jake Hope released a new song not too long ago and let be the first to tell you. This song is so damn good! It follows a pretty standard alternative structure with a few twists making Jake more of a unique individual.
The intro is interesting. It has a lot of distortion then breaks into the first verse with just the drums and bass line. The lead electric doesn't come in until the first chorus and as the second verse starts one can hear new elements from the first verse. This slow build of of stems is very common but the instruments and melodies Jake uses sets him apart from others in this genre! This abnger will turn you into a 'Basketcase' with how many times you'll be repeating it over!
Lyrics That Stick:
"Realistically it's me, myself, and I until the end
Walls caving in, no oxygen, I'm losing my mind"
